Your four-legged friend is on vacation too, and because they’re part of the family, at San Damiano Campground we do everything we can to make them feel right at home. We’ve designed services and amenities to ensure a comfortable stay for your pet and a convenient one for you. This commitment has even earned us the Qualidog certification in 2023, and every year we come up with new ways to ensure even greater well-being on vacation with your dog.
So before you leave, pack your dog’s essentials (up-to-date vaccination record, European pet passport if needed, parasite treatment, leash, toys...) and come to San Damiano Campground to discover the beauty of Corsica, a very “dog-friendly” island.

Of course, our four-legged friends are welcome in all our rentals, but the “Giglio” cottages (14 units) are particularly well-suited to their comfort. A large enclosed patio lets you enjoy the outdoors in complete peace of mind without worrying about your dog running away!

Dog beds with blankets for your rental, portable fencing for your campsite

Dog beds with blankets are available for rent during your stay in a rental unit so your dog has a cozy spot all to himself to rest. For campsites, you can also rent portable fences. A great idea for dogs that tend to wander. This way, your dog can roam freely within the boundaries of your campsite.

Since dogs aren’t allowed inside the store, we’ve set up a dog parking area right at the supermarket entrance. Two covered spots, each equipped with a leash hook, will allow your faithful friend to wait comfortably and out of the elements while you shop for their supplies: food, grooming products, toys, poop bags… are, of course, available in our supermarket. You’ll also find a paw-level drinking fountain in our pedestrian area, as well as various water stations throughout the store.

A “dog-friendly” area in the main restroom block

Outside our main restroom area, you’ll find a covered space set aside for washing your dog. You can wash 1 to 2 dogs at the same time in a spacious basin at owner height, which is easily accessible for them thanks to wide wooden steps. The Doggy Lagoon is equipped with hand-held showers and tie-up rings. Two dog owners can bathe their dogs at the same time, as the area features two basins separated by a high partition.

For their daily walk, your dog can stretch their legs along the Lido bike path or frolic on the San Damiano campground beach, which like most beaches on the island, is dog-friendly, provided you respect other beachgoers, of course.
Also take advantage of your stay to discover the breathtaking landscapes through the many nature walks Corsica has to offer. Far from the challenges of the GR20, you’ll also find lovely walks near our campground that you can enjoy with your furry friends. Click here

Good to Know

❝ Dogs classified as high-risk are not allowed at the San Damiano campground

❝ Dogs may be walked on-site if kept on a leash; they are not allowed in the supermarket, playground, water park, or gym.

❝ You are responsible for ensuring your dog behaves appropriately around other guests.

❝ All our accommodations are dog-friendly; dog beds with blankets are available as an option.

❝ A roll of waste bags is included in the welcome kit you’ll receive upon arrival.

❝ Please help us keep the property clean by always picking up after your pet and disposing of the waste in the campground’s recycling area.

❝ The phone numbers for the nearest veterinary clinics are posted at the front desk (and on our website); our staff will also be happy to assist you in finding the best care.

❝ There is currently no pet-sitting service available at Campground San Damiano.

❝ Your dog must not be left alone inside the rental units.
